Joseph Hagermann, of Bayville, ex-postmaster of the village, is on trial in the United States court in Brooklyn on the charge of embezzling the contents of a money package.
Thieves in Long Island City.
A sneak thief entered the apartments of John Magee in Long Island City shortly before 7 o'clock Monday evening and made a haul of silverware and wearing apparel valued at $300.
