Fred Barton went to Harrison, Sept. 24, where he will stay with relatives for a few days then go to his work at Old Orchard. We wish him good luck.

Louis Brown is driving team for B. H. Pike, hauling spool strips from Mr. Pike's mill to the spool mill at North Waterford.

C. H. Porter, for a man of his age, has done quite a lot of work since planting. He is 66 years of age and has up to Sept. 11, as he reports, done 27 days work, staying at home nights and walking back and forth an average of 6 to 7 miles each day.

Willard Adams is working at the corn shop at South Waterford and boards at home, going on his bicycle.

Mrs. Etta Carson returned home Sunday, Sept. 24.

Lee Smart visited his brother A. H. Smart one day last week.

Mrs. Wm. Durgin and Mrs. Mont Trueman visited at C. O. Kimball's one day last week.
