Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Weeks of East Parsonsfield were Sunday guests of Mrs. Weeks' parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Weeman, and attended the afternoon service at the Union church.
Mr. Herbert E. Welch is at home for a few weeks' vacation from his work in the Lowell Plush mills.
Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Colcord were recent guests of their niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse I. Drew at their home in Freedom, N. H.
Mr. C. E. Weeman and daughter, Mrs. H. E. Welch attended church at Porter Sunday, Sept. 24.
Miss Marion Boothby was a guest of her grandaunt, Mrs. Achsah Davis, of Newfield, also another aunt Mrs. Sarah Boothby of South Parsonsfield during the past week, and is at present the guest of her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Boothby of North Parsonsfield.
M. J. Dow, M. J. Wilson, R. V. Smith, Frank Sawyer, C. L. Moulton, J. B. Lord, Miss Edith Haines and Margaret Gale attended the fair at Rochester one day the past week. Mr. C. L. Neal, Mrs. May Randall and daughter Annie went to the fair at Gorham.
Mr. G. E. Perkins of South Parsonsfield accompanied Rev. A. M. Cox to the evening service at the Union church.
