Funeral Arrangements for Mrs. Annie Scripture

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENT FOR MRS. ANNIE SCRIPTURE

Mrs. Annie Scripture, former well Denton woman and wife of R. C. Scripture, died at 5 o'clock Sunday morning at the family home in Dallas. She had suffered a nervous breakdown six weeks ago and this, with complications caused her death.

Before her marriage Mrs. Scripture was Miss Annie Brown and was born at Salisbury, N. C., in 1862. She was married in the 80s, making their home here. Ten years ago to the day the family moved back to Dallas from this city, and had lived there since. Surviving her besides Mr. Scripture is her daughter, Mrs. H. Hargraves Brown of Salisbury. N. C. A nephew, Francis Scripture, was an adopted son, who is employed in government work at Penniman, Va.

The funeral arrangements are held up pending the arrival of Francis in Dallas. Her daughter, Mrs. Brown, was with her mother when the end came.
