Died in a Police Station

New York, 1895

Theodore Gay of Port Jefferson was found in a dazed condition in New York on Saturday night and locked up. He was suffering from alcoholism and was ill with consumption. He was found dead in his cell Sunday morning. He was 37 years of age and a clerk in a store.
