Farmer John Leddy Hurt

New York, 1895

John Leddy, a Flushing farmer, is lying in the hospital suffering from injuries received by falling from his wagon Tuesday night. Leddy was going home from market. He was fast asleep and the horses were going at a rapid gait. The wagon struck a curbstone and Leddy fell out. He landed on his head. Leddy's father was killed a few months ago by being thrown from the same wagon in a like manner on Metropolitan avenue.
