Punished for Stealing Wood

New York, 1895

Andrew Payne and David Brewster of Massapequa, were arraigned before Justice Seaman, at Wantagh, on Friday, charged by Walter R. Jones with stealing wood from his place. The justice sent Payne to the county jail for sixty days and imposed a fine of $25 additional. Brewster was fined $10.
