Heavy Damages Asked For.

New York, 1895

Aaron Singer of Riverhead has been appointed guardian of his son, George Singer, aged 6, for the purpose of bringing an action for $10,000 damages against Thomas Rowland, of East Setauket, for injuries received by the boy from a gun shot wound.


Female Lunatic at Large.

While Dr. MacDonald and a staff of physicians were taking two carloads of lunatics to the New York City Insane Asylum at Central Islip on Tuesday, one of the female patients escaped.
